If you’re looking for a Biblical ministry to change your kids’ lives, you’ve come to the right place! Awana is a powerful ministry that helps Southeast reach children and youth for Christ. On Wednesday evenings during the school year, AWANA check-in begins at 6:15 p.m. and club is over at 8:15 p.m. AWANA is a great program for children 3 years of age through 12th grade. You can join at any time through out the year. We appreciate all the parents and volunteers that help keep the AWANA program running smoothly.
Cubbies is our club for children two years prior to beginning kindergarten. The program encourages and assists parents to promote their child’s spiritual development. The handbooks include age-appropriate verses and activities to help preschoolers learn basic truths from the Bible.
Sparks is for boys and girls in kindergarten through 2nd grade. Children work through an entrance booklet and then through handbooks memorizing scripture and earning jewels which are worn on crowns on their uniforms.
Truth and Training (T&T) - The third through sixth grade boys and girls are divided into: 3rd and 4th grade girls, 3rd and 4th grade boys, 5th and 6th grade girls, and 5th and 6th grade boys. The clubbers memorize scripture and learn Biblical principals with practical life application.
Trek is for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. They work through a magazine style handbook with bible sections, activities and service ideas to apply what they learn to real life. Trek takes real questions from real students and answers them from the Bible in a relevant, engaging way. More motivated clubbers can complete Compass Points.
Journey (24/7) is for 9th - 12th grade boys and girls. Journey, features an energetic look, enhanced content, life application and an emphasis on Scripture memory. They complete 2 Bible study books which include a weekly quiz and Memory verse. Each year they read ¼ of the Bible and recite a summary on assigned Bible books. As service projects, clubbers may attend a training event and help in a younger club part of each club night. Journey is for students who want to grow in God’s word and in His service
